Free Seminar: Easing The Stress Epidemic with Sydney Naturopath Kay Bellingham
If you’re one of the many who suffer from stress, anxiety, insomnia, or even ongoing fatigue which may be related to stress, you may be interested in attending our seminar ‘Easing the Stress Epidemic’ on Thursday 20/10/22. I’m sure most of us have suffered some degree of stress especially during the past 3 years with bushfires, floods and Covid. Stress is normally a short-term experience however too much stress can be extremely detrimental to our health and wellbeing.
During our 25 years in business at Go Vita, we have endeavoured to educate and support our community to become mindful of the many choices available for supporting good health and wellbeing.
One of the highlights of our month of 25th Birthday celebrations is our ‘Easing the Stress Epidemic’ seminar. This seminar will cover many issues relating to stress including how we cope with and preserve our health during stress. We are fortunate to have Sydney Naturopath Kay Bellingham as our guest speaker. I have known Kay for many years and always come away from her information nights, buzzing as she is so informative and easy to understand. Kay never fails to impress me with not only her expertise and knowledge but also her ability to help us understand the many health topics she covers. Kay spoke at our Women’s Health Seminar last year and was a huge hit with our attendees.
At this seminar we will learn how prolonged stress can impact and contribute to
- Sleeplessness
- Mild Anxiety
- Magnesium Availability
- Emotion wellbeing
- Energy Production
Feeling stressed and anxious from time to time is a part of life, however when we undergo ongoing stress this can then be harmful to our mental, emotional, and physical health. Ongoing stress is believed to be linked to many physical illnesses including high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and even cancer. It may contribute to obesity and metabolic syndrome and chronic fatigue. Stress challenges our immune system making us more prone to infections. Long term stress can develop into mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. A 2021 Stress and Wellbeing in Australia survey found the majority of Australians felt that stress impacted their physical health (72%) and mental health (64%). Now more than ever, it is important to explore strategies to help cope with stress. Attending this seminar is a great opportunity to do just that.
