For some time now there has been varying reports about the toxicity of some cosmetics.  There have been claims some cosmetics contain chemicals that have not been assessed for safety. Some even claim certain cosmetics contain probable carcinogens or reproductive toxins.

So, is wearing make-up a health hazard and should we believe that some of the ingredients contained in cosmetics may be linked to cancer and reproductive problems? Well, my answer is wherever possible we should always err on the side of caution.  If we have alternatives, why not choose the safer alternatives?
